In response to evolving educational and public health needs, the Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR), on May 2, 2026, launches its master’s programs, strengthening its commitment to academic excellence and community transformation through a new generation of graduate studies.
In the field of education, the Master of Education in French and the Master of Education in English aim to develop highly qualified, educators capable of fostering linguistic competence, critical thinking, and intercultural dialogue. The Master of Education Technology and Instructional Design equips professionals with advanced digital pedagogical skills to design innovative, inclusive, and technology-driven learning environments, an essential response to the growing demand for modern education systems.
In the health sciences, CUR’s programs address pressing community challenges. The Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health prepares specialists to improve healthcare outcomes for mothers and children, directly contributing to reduced mortality and stronger family well-being. The Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Disease Control forms experts capable of responding to epidemics, strengthening surveillance systems, and supporting evidence-based health policies. The Master of Public Health in Community and Environmental Health focuses on prevention, environmental sustainability, and community resilience, while the Master of Science in Human Nutrition promotes better health through improved nutrition practices, combating malnutrition and enhancing quality of life.
