The Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR) proudly positions itself as a center of academic excellence and international cooperation. From 23 to 25 September 2025, CUR hosted a high-level seminar in partnership with the University of Cádiz (Spain). The sessions focused on renewable energy, photovoltaic technologies, irrigation systems, and the circular economy, fields that are crucial for sustainable development in Rwanda and across Africa.

From solar-powered water pumping to modern irrigation techniques and the use of artificial intelligence in agriculture, CUR is at the forefront of providing practical solutions to today’s pressing challenges.
