The Executive Organ of the Catholic University of Rwanda is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, strategic management, and operational coordination of the University. It ensures that the institution fulfills its mission in line with its vision, core values, and the statutes of the University. It operates under the guidance of the Chancellor and the University Council.

Roles and Responsibilities
Chief Executive Leadership: Serve as the chief executive and academic officer of the University.
Strategic Vision: Provide overall leadership, vision, and direction for the institution's growth and excellence.
Strategic Implementation: Ensure implementation of the University's strategic plan, policies, and academic programs.
External Relations: Represent the University in national and international forums, strengthening partnerships and collaborations.
Values Integration: Promote Catholic values and ethical standards in teaching, research, and community service.
Performance Oversight: Oversee the performance of senior management and ensure accountability in all University functions.
Governance Reporting: Report regularly to the University Council and the Chancellor on institutional progress and challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities
Academic Leadership: Lead the planning, development, and evaluation of academic programs.
Staff Development: Oversee the recruitment, development, and performance appraisal of academic staff.
Quality Assurance: Ensure quality assurance and compliance with higher education standards.
Research Coordination: Promote and coordinate research activities, innovation, and scholarly publications.
Partnership Development: Foster partnerships for academic collaboration, research funding, and knowledge exchange.
Academic Supervision: Supervise deans, directors of academic departments, and heads of research centers.
Innovation Integration: Enhance the integration of technology and modern pedagogies in teaching and learning.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Financial Planning: Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation of the University.
Financial Management: Ensure transparent and accountable management of University finances in line with policies and regulations.
Administrative Services: Manage procurement, contracts, and administrative services to support academic and research operations.
Human Resources: Supervise human resources, ensuring efficient recruitment, staff welfare, and capacity development.
Infrastructure Management: Coordinate the maintenance and expansion of University infrastructure and facilities.
Sustainability Planning: Develop financial sustainability strategies, including income-generating projects.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for internal management, the University Council, and relevant authorities.
Collective Responsibilities
Strategic Implementation: Work collaboratively to implement the University's strategic plan (2025–2030) and ensure institutional sustainability.
Catholic Identity: Uphold the Catholic identity and mission of the University in all operations.
Decision Making: Make key decisions on academic, financial, and administrative matters in the best interest of the institution.
Stakeholder Relations: Address challenges affecting staff, students, and stakeholders with professionalism and integrity.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with national higher education laws, policies, and quality assurance standards.
