Welcome to the Faculty of Science and Technology at the Catholic University of Rwanda. As Dean, I am honored to lead a dynamic faculty that is committed to academic excellence, innovation, and shaping future leaders in science and technology. Academic Profile

Dr. HARIMANA Yves holds a PhD in Food Science and Engineering from Northeast Agricultural University (Harbin, China), an M.Sc. in Nutrition and Food Hygiene from Jiangnan University (Wuxi, China), and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnologies from INES-Ruhengeri (Rwanda). Additionally, he earned an Advanced Diploma in Biology-Chemistry Education from UR-College of Education (Rwanda).

His research interests include Protein Engineering, Food Chemistry, Food Hydrocolloids, Nutrition, and Food Safety. Dr. HARIMANA’s work focuses on promoting human health and addressing consumer needs through innovative research and applied solutions.

With his extensive academic background and commitment to excellence, Dr. HARIMANA Yves inspires students and colleagues alike, fostering an environment that nurtures growth and academic success.
