Shaping Future Rwandan Health Workforce: CUR Students Embark On Clinical Placement

On 12 May 2025, the Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR) proudly deployed 286 students from the Nursing and Midwifery programs to 25 hospitals across the country for a two-month clinical placement. This essential hands-on training phase is a cornerstone of CUR's commitment to producing competent, compassionate, and practice-ready health professionals.
Across all 25 hospitals See list, CUR students have been warmly welcomed by healthcare teams, creating an encouraging environment for their clinical learning. From heartfelt greetings to guided hospital tours and mentor introductions, the reception has reflected the shared commitment to nurturing Rwanda’s next generation of health professionals.
