The Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR) is pleased to invite applications for PhD studies under the GreenTech Mobility Project: Advancing Sustainable Technologies through Academic Collaboration in Africa.
This project is carried out in partnership with the University Nangui Abrogoua (Côte d’Ivoire), Kenyatta University (Kenya), the National University of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (Benin), and the University of Energy and Natural Resources (Ghana), which will host the PhD candidates. Supported by the European Union through the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, the project aims to promote research, innovation, and academic cooperation in Africa in areas related to sustainable development.
CUR invites qualified Master’s degree holders to apply for doctoral studies in the following fields:
- Renewable Energy and Energy Systems
- Circular Economy and Waste Valorization
- Sustainable Transport and Clean Mobility
- Climate Adaptation and Resilience
Selected PhD candidates will benefit from the fully funded scholarships, study and research opportunities at partner African universities, joint supervision by experienced academics, access to modern research facilities and technologies, and international academic and research experience
