CUR SHINES AT THE RUTSIMBURA MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
The Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR) proudly participated in the prestigious Rutsimbura Memorial Tournament, bringing together universities from across the country to celebrate sportsmanship, unity, and talent. This marked CUR’s inaugural appearance in this vibrant competition, and our volleyball team made a remarkable impression by advancing from the group stage and showcasing exceptional teamwork and resilience.
A standout moment was our thrilling 3-1 victory against the University of Rwanda – Huye Campus (UR-Huye), a match that demonstrated not only our students's determination but also the high standard of preparation and discipline instilled in them. CUR's qualification from the group stage reflected not only sporting excellence but also the university's commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
