CUR Students and Equity Bank for Job Creation Training
From June 18–20, 2025, the Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR) proudly hosted a transformative three-day training in collaboration with Equity Bank, reinforcing CUR’s commitment to empowering students with real-world skills for job creation and entrepreneurship. This impactful event, held across both CUR campuses, stemmed from a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between CUR and Equity Bank to address the growing challenges of career guidance, development, and graduate unemployment.
Throughout the event, Equity Bank professionals delivered interactive sessions focused on financial literacy, entrepreneurial thinking, and business development. Students gained valuable insights into the functioning of banks, learned how to initiate and manage successful projects, and discovered the pathways to engage confidently with financial institutions.
This initiative reflects CUR’s mission to prepare students not just for academic success, but for meaningful, sustainable careers that contribute to Rwanda’s socio-economic development. By promoting innovation, job creation, and financial inclusion, CUR continues to position itself as a forward-thinking institution that partners with industry leaders to shape the future of its students.
