Description

The University of Parma (Italy) and the Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR) have signed a five-year Protocol of International University Cooperation, renewable with mutual consent, to promote higher education, research, training, and cultural exchange.

The cooperation focuses on specific activities: exchange of professors, researchers, and students for defined periods; joint development of research projects; collaborative creation and publication of academic journals, books, and other scholarly materials; organization of conferences, workshops, and seminars; and development of innovative educational programs. The Parties also aim to strengthen connections among faculties, departments, and research centers to facilitate collaboration.

Each university will prepare an Annual Activity Plan detailing specific programs, to be approved before the academic year. Reports on completed activities will be shared, and costs will be jointly managed by the relevant units, with options for external funding. Coordinators from each university will oversee implementation.
