Implemented by CUR in partnership with Rwanda Governance Board and UNDP during 2022. This project supported efforts to respond to COVID-19 and mitigate its impact.
This project was implemented by the Catholic University of Rwanda in partnership with Rwanda Governance Board and UNDP during 2022 to address the economic and social impacts of COVID-19 on local businesses and household cooperatives.
The initiative focused on supporting cultural and creative sectors that were particularly affected by pandemic-related restrictions. Through targeted interventions, the project helped businesses adapt to new operating conditions while preserving cultural heritage and creative industries.
Key activities included business adaptation support, digital transformation assistance, financial literacy training, and the development of new market linkages. The project successfully helped numerous local businesses and cooperatives navigate the challenges posed by the pandemic while building resilience for future disruptions.
